The picture below shows a larger view of all (3) Different Boston Latin School Class of 1936 Items in this lot. This yearbook and programs had once belonged to an Arnold M. Patterson (Class of 1936). The (96) page yearbook has all the typical things that you would see including photographs, group images, sports, clubs, bands, lots of advertising, and much more. There are (10) different signatures or autographs inside. At some point, someone had pasted brown paper to the cover, then at some other time, some of that paper was removed as pictured. The other two items are programs. One from May 7th, 1936 was for a Farewell Banquet given at the Hotel Buckminster in Boston. Inside is the menu from that dinner. The other is from June 25th, 1936. It was for the Graduation Exercises at the School Hall. It has the program, the Officers of the Class of 1936, the Class Committee, and the Ushers. It is marked on the two sides as follows: All three of these for one price! To judge the sizes the year book measures 8'' x 10-7/8'' x 1/2''. It appears to be in excellent condition except for the brown paper on the cover as pictured. The Banquet menu is excellent. The Graduation program has a vertical fold. |
