The picture shows this 1936 Post Toasties Corn Flakes / Melvin Purvis / G-Man Newspaper Advertisement. The picture shows the ad minus some of the white space. The top comic section has been cut off but all of the information is there of how to Join Melin Purvis The Junior G-Man Corps. Melvin Purvis is pictured. By sending two Post Toasties Flakes boxtops and the order form on the ad you can join. You will be sent an Official Melvin Purvis Junior G-Man Badge (boys or girls division - both are pictured), his big thrilling book that tells how to be a Junior G-Man, and get a free catalog of other free prizes. Also by sending box tops you can get the following (all pictured):

Melvin Purvis Junior G-Man 24 carat gold finish Ring
Melvin Purvis Junior G-Man Finger Print Set
Pistol Flashlight

Sorry but the offer expired on December 31st, 1936. Wait! There's More! The ad pictures the cereal box and a 1936 Mickey Mouse! It also advertises that there are MICKEY MOUSE toys on the back and sides of every box! WOW! all this from a single cereal! They don't make them like this any more! The order form is not filled in. The ad came in a 1936 newspaper from the Boston, Massachusetts area. On the back is a comic of "Cicero's Cat" by Bud Fisher. Someone had saved a lot of these comic strips that is why this ad comic is cropped at the top. Counting all white space the ad measures 15-1/2" x 7-1/2". Other than being cropped at the top (as pictured) it is in excellent condition.
