The pictures show views of the (2) Amesbury, Massachusetts World War II Homefront Paper Items in this lot. The first item is a program. The outside and inside are pictured. Inside there are (80) names listed in the Honor Roll. There ia a program page and the back has the invited guest names and the Committee names. The front is marked as follows:

DEDICATION
OF FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
AND HONOR ROLL OF THE CITIZENS
OF THE HIGHLANDS DISTRICT
AMESBURY, MASSACHUSETTS
NOW SERVING IN THE ARMED FORCES
OF OUR COUNTRY

AT HIGHLAND PARK AMESBURY
ON THURSDAY EVENING JULY TWENTIETH
NINETEEN HUNDRED FOURTY-FOUR
AT SEVEN O'CLOCK

The second item is a 1942 one page typed letter from the Chief Air Raid Warden to people of Amesbury concerning their Civilian Defense Organization. The letter is a plea for volunteer workers with much detail.

To judge the sizes the program measures about 5-3/4'' x 9-1/8''. These are in fair condition with age discoloration. The program has some wear and tear as pictured.
