Wait! There's More! The ad pictures the cereal box and a 1936 Mickey Mouse! It also advertises that there are MICKEY MOUSE toys on the back and sides of every box! WOW! all this from a single cereal! They don't make them like this any more! The order form is not filled in. The ad came in a 1936 newspaper from the Boston, Massachusetts area. On the back is a comic of "Cicero's Cat" by Bud Fisher. Someone had saved a lot of these comic strips that is why this ad comic is cropped at the top. Counting all white space the ad measures 15-1/2" x 7-1/2". Other than being cropped at the top (as pictured) it is in excellent condition. |
