The picture shows a view of this Old Boxed & Unassembled Dutch Flintlock Pistol Life Like Model Kit. This model kit is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1960s. It is a Life-Like Hobby Kit from Baltimore, Maryland and was licensed by Pyro Plastics Corporation of New Jersey. The model is complete with the box, instruction sheet, metal spring, plastic parts, and display stand. The pistol is an exact copy of the original in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The box and the instruction sheet show and list other gun model kits in this series. These include: The Buccaneer, The Privateer, The Yorktown, The Bunkerhill, Western ''44'', Civil War Navy ''36'', Peacemaker ''45'', Blunderbus, Pair of Dueling Pistols, Derringer Pepperbox Set, Miquelet Pistol, Western Saddle Gun (rifle), and Frontiersman Kentucky Rifle. To judge the sizes the box measures 14-3/4'' x 5-1/8'' x 1-3/4''. The kit is unbuilt and the parts and instruction sheet are in mint condition. The box has some water spotting and a scribbled out hand written price on the cover as pictured. |
