The book is inscribed on the first blank page as follows: Will Willie From his Grandmother. Christmas 1894. The cover pictures George Washington, Native American Indians, Ship, and Christopher Columbus. The back cover has several images including one of a Pilgrim with rifle and pick ax, a Revolutionary War scene, and a Civil War Navy battle scene with the ironclads U.S.S. Monitor and the C.S.S. Virginia (formerly the U.S.S. Merrimack). The color pages have more white space then shown in the scans. The titles of the colorful pages inside are as follows: COLUMBUS DISCOVERING AMERICA. The hard cover book measures 7-1/4'' x 9'' x 3/4''. Over all the book is in good condition. The prints inside and the pages are nice and clean. The cover has wear as pictured.
