Old King Vitaman Character Cereal Prize Magnifying Box
King Vitaman   Character   Cereal   Prize   Premium   Magnifying Glass   Box   Jay Ward   Cartoon   Comic   Quaker   Toy   Novelty   Nostalgic
The picture shows a top and bottom view of this Old King Vitaman Character Cereal Prize Magnifying Box. It is made of plastic. This prize is not dated, but this example of the cereal character was only used in 1970. The character was created by Jay Ward, the creator of Rocky & Bullwinkle. The prize is a small box that has a plastic magnifying glass attached. The lid is raised or lowered to focus. A kid could use this to get a closer look at insects, leaves, rocks, coins, the cereal, or any other small object. The prize pictures King Vitaman and is marked ''KING VITAMAN'' and ''W. G. INC.''. It measures 1-3/8'' x 1-3/8'' x 7/8'' and is in mint condition as pictured.

Here is a little information found online about King Vitaman Cereal:

King Vitaman
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

King Vitaman is a brand of pre-sweetened breakfast cereal produced by Quaker Oats and sold in the United States. The cereal entered the marketplace in 1970, and although it has changed mascots over the years, it is still in production.

King Vitaman Cereal was touted as ''the 100% vitamin and iron cereal'' with ''sugary sweet tasty little crowns... kids love 'em!'' The cereal itself was similar to Cap'n Crunch. The televised commercials for the cereal were animated by Jay Ward Productions, the creators of Rocky and Bullwinkle. The advertising featured King Vitaman and his knights: Sir Laffitup & Sir Cravenleigh and their foes Blue Baron & Not-So-Bright Knight.

Compared to most well known cereal mascots, the cereal box depiction of King Vitaman has taken multiple versions throughout the years. A photographed man once held the role, as have at least two noticeably different cartoon illustrations.
