The picture shows all (4) Old Victorian Japanese Porcelain Figurines in this lot. The two larger figurines in this lot are marked "MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN" on their bottoms. These came directly out of an attic. Shortly after, it was found that they originally were on lamp bases and the original brass bases were found later in the same attic (see picture #2). I was going to put them back on the bases, but decided not to because it would be easier to pack and mail them off and also the lamp bases look like they need rewiring. They will easily mount back on. There are no shades included, but they are easily replaced. The second pair of figurines (the smaller ones) were purchased at the same time years ago. On their bottoms they have a Japanese marking and are also marked "JAPAN". The woman has her left elbow broken off, but I decided to include her anyway because they were a set. All that you see in the two pictures for one price! To judge the sizes the larger figurines measure 6-3/4" tall. The two larger ones and the smaller man appear to be in in mint as made condition. |
