The picture shows a view of this Old Solid Brass Put & Take Spinning Top. The top is in a foreign language which I think is German, but I'm not sure. It is not dated, but old.

This top is a game all by itself you can carry in your pocket. It can be played with money ($100 bills if you want), poker chips, matchsticks, or anything else that you have that's plenty. The game is played by any number of people. It's played by having a pot to put and take from. The top has six sides. It is spun and you do whatever it says (if in English) like "T3" (take 3), "P4" (put 4), and so on.

This one is marked as follows:

SÆT TO
SÆT EN
PULJE

ALLE SÆTTE

There are many different varieties of this Put & Take top. It measures 1-3/16" tall. It is in excellent or better condition with a nice aged brass patina.
