The picture shows both sides of the (2) 1956 Bank Advertising Premium Optical Illusion Coin Holders in this lot. One is to hold quarters and the other is for dimes. They both picture a "Thrifty Trixie" advertising character. One pictures a 1943 silver quarter and the other has a Mercury dime. These were given out to customers by the LOWELL FIVE CENT SAVINGS BANK of Chelmsford, Massachusetts. They have a ©1956 date by Banthrico International. They are identical in size, but one appears larger. This is a famous optical illusion trick. They each measures 6-1/8" tall. They are both in mint unused condition.
