The cover of this "PRESIDENT'S BAND" brochure pictures every United States President up to Calvin Coolidge who was the President at the time. It also pictures the Capital Building with a large crowd of people. It also pictures the U.S. Marine Band in front of the White House. Page #2 & #3 has the History of the band as well as two images. The first is of Captain Branson and the second is of the band at the entrance to the Congressional Library in Washington, D.C.. The last page advertises the U.S. Marine Band's music on Orthophonic Victor Records. At the bottom of the page is a nice "HIS MASTER'S VOICE" image of Nipper, RCA Advertising character dog. At the very bottom it is marked as follows: PRINTED JULY 1927 VICTOR TALKING MACHINE COMPANY CAMDEN, N.J., U.S.A. FORM NO. 9540 iqa Closed it measures 8" x 11". It is in excellent condition with folds that are probably from mailing. |
