The picture shows Vinyl Candy Container Purse With An Encased Doll. It is hard to imagine this as a candy container but there is a gold label is right on the bottom that gives ingredients, weight (4 oz.), and made in Brazil. The label also has "Packed by: Lemberger Food Company Inc., Palisades Park, N.J.". There is no zip code placing this in at least the early 1960's. The case & doll are in a airline theme. The case reads: "747 - 707 Trident Caravelle" and the Liddle Kiddle looking doll is dressed in a stewardess outfit. This cute item measures (not counting the handle) 5-1/4" tall x 2-1/4" deep x 5-1/4" wide. The handle is 5-3/4" long. It is in near mint condition but the back of the insert which holds the doll is indented. This indent could be popped back out if it was accessable. The doll can not be removed with out cutting the insert. How many little girls left the doll incased? I doubt many did! This is a great item!
