The picture shows an opened view of this Colorful Old Bakelite Hot Pepper Pendant With Hidden Man Charm Inside. This pendant is not dated but it is old. It looks like a red hot pepper, or it could be a horn. We have had this for many years and until recently we had no idea that the metal man charm was in a secret compartment. The top section screws off to reveal him hanging from the metal top section. We do not know the purpose of the charm or the story behind it. The unusual pendant with the cap screwed on measures 2-3/8'' tall. It is in near mint condition as pictured. There is a very tiny chip at the bottom point that may have been from the manufacturing.
