The postcard is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1940s. The postcard was never mailed. The black & white photo is of (8) band members, (1) woman and (7) men. Also pictured are two guitars, a bass, an accordion, two banjos, and a fiddle. It is marked on the front as follows: DOWN - EASTERS
PHOTO TAKEN AT DOWN - EAST DUDE RANCH This real photo post card measures 5-3/8'' x 3-3/8''. It appears to be in good condition with uneven edges as pictured. On the back there is some extra paper because this post card was at one time pasted in a scrap book. the extra paper covers up the postcard back markings. With some care, it might be able to be removed. |
