The picture shows different views of all the parts that make up this 1930's Wheaties Cereal Box Grocery Store. I had scanned all sides of the two boxes included in this lot. There are two old Cereal boxes here. It describes how it takes two wheaties boxes to make one toy grocery store (see blue panel in picture). It appears that it is all here! This would be hard to describe so I took the time to do all this scanning. (PLEASE REFER TO THE PICTURE AS I TELL YOU WHAT I CAN). The boxes are not flattened, they are cut where they should be to create the store. I had pictured everything as if they were separated. From the bottom left there is the uncut side with groceries, Cash Register, & Scale, next the front of package #2, then side of the same package with a premium offer for silverware. above the box is the uncut top panel with play money. The blue panel on top is all that is on the other side of this box. The two scans to the left & right on top that picture (16) grocery package items are all cut out of the same box I believe. Next on the bottom row is the side of Package #1 which is the instruction panel, then there is the back which is the store shelves. This was made by cutting the side & top seams, then pushing it in to the front of the box. The back of the box makes up the front of the counter--the counter top (not seen) and the fisrt two rows of groceries. The top two rows of groceries is actually the connected top panel. Are you confused yet? The three shelves that are hard to see (you are only looking at the edge of the cardboard) were created by using the box bottom. Next there is the other side panel with advertising, then the front. Everything is in excellent condition! There are (6) patent dates on the front starting with 1925 and ending with 1936 by General Mills, Inc.. Everything is surprisingly very clean! Here's something cool! When you are finished playing with this grocery store, the two boxes fit together to form one box!!! It takes up the space of one complete box. By the way, many of the detail grocery packages are name brand foods! The boxes measure 8-1/2" x 6-1/4" x 2-3/4". These boxes are pretty unique and a rare survivor.
