They are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1920s. It was from long before the famous Red Ryder gun. It was made by The Daisy Manufacturing Company of Plymouth, Michigan, U.S.A.. The cover or first tag pictures a boy with his Daisy Air Rifle, Daisy flowers, and a frog. The retail price of the No. 11 - 350 shot was $2.00. The back of that tag has a Guarantee. The second tag has instructions on one side and a parts list with replacement prices and a disassembled gun picture for reference. The text on the tags can be easily read from the pictures below. These tags have their original old string connecting them. The heavy paper tags measure 2-3/8'' x 3-5/8''. They appear to be in excellent condition with only very light wear as pictured. |
