The pictures show views of all (3) Different Old Peco Candy Cigarettes Premium Airplane Cards in this lot. These cards are not dated but they do bear a 1939 package patent number on them (#2179376). The airplane trading cards are perforated and were once on candy cigarette packages. The candy cigarettes were manufactured by Pecheur Lozenge Company, Inc. of Brooklyn, New York. We do not have a complete candy cigarettes box to show but they may have had familiar brand names on the boxes such as Kool, Lucky Strike, Camel, Raleigh, Pall Mall, and perhaps others. We do not know for sure. There were (28) cards to the complete set. The backs are blank. The fronts each picture a different Navy or Army military aircraft in color. The cards are marked as follows:

#2
GRUMMAN F4F-3 NAVY FIGHTER
Escorts bombers and attacks enemy bombers. Top speed of 350 mph.
This is one of 28 different PECO Airplane Pictures
''FLY WITH THE UNITED STATES NAVY''
Package Pat. No. 2179376

#9
CURTISS P-40 ARMY PURSUIT FIGHTER
Has liquid cooled motor and attains speed of 400 mph.
This is one of 28 different PECO Airplane Pictures
''KEEP 'EM FLYING''
Package Pat. No. 2179376

#18
CONSOLIDATED PB2Y-1 NAVY PATROL BOMBER
Four motored flying boat not equipped for descent upon land.
This is one of 28 different PECO Airplane Pictures
''FLY WITH THE UNITED STATES NAVY''
Package Pat. No. 2179376

The cards each measure 2-13/16'' x 1-5/16''. We are not card graders, but they appear to range from good to excellent condition as pictured. The #9 card has some creasing as shown on the front and back.
