The pictures below show larger front and back views of this Old Framed Young Lady Artist Drawing Picture. The picture is not dated but it is believed to be from the late 1800s or early 1900s. The detailed drawing appears to be in pencil, charcoal, and crayon. The young woman is in a dress or blouse.

This framed drawing was acquired from an old estate with many older photographs of different kinds dating back as far as the Civil War to the early 1900s, including many tintypes, carte de visite (CDV), and cabinet cards. The people are not identified, however, the majority of photographs were of people who were probably related, and had lived in Bangor, Maine and Rochester, New Hampshire.

The frame is made of wood. The front was gold and black painted but it has wear. The frame has wooden panels in the back and an old heavy hanger string or cord for hanging. The frame measures about 13-1/2'' x 17-1/2''. The drawing appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured. The frame is solid but could use another layer of paint.
