| | | | The picture below shows larger front and back views of this Old Hopalong Cassidy Comic Book & Movie Cowboy Hero Six Point Metal Face Star Badge. This badge is not dated but it is believed to be from the early 1950s. It is made of an embossed tin metal. It has Hoppy’s face image in the center, six stars, six points, rope borders, and it is marked “HOPALONG CASSIDY” on the front. There is a no straight pin with a clasp attached to the back. It does not appear to be broken. It looks like one was never applied. There are some slight variations of these badges that were produced. The star badge measures about 1-7/8'' x 2-1/8'' x 1/4''. It appears to be in mint condition, but has no pin on the back as pictured. A pin can be provided with the badge if requested. |
