| The pictures below show larger views of all (5) Old Aurora Miniature Slot Car Auto Racing Related Items in this lot. Only the Racing Speed Control box is date ©1964, but all of these items are believed to be from the 1960s. Included in this lot are (2) different old Thunderjet 500 Service Manuals, an instruction sheet for Aurora Super Skyway, a boxed ©1964 Racing Speed Control, and an old unopened bottle of Special Racing Oil. The left manual pictured (32 pages) is believed to be from 1963 because it advertises many different 1963 slot cars. The right manual pictured (48 pages) is believed to be from 1967. It too has many slot cars advertised, but it also features the #1384 Green Hornet Black Beauty and the #1385 Batman Batmobile slot cars. These manuals are filled with a lot of information, pictures and advertising for HO Thunderjet 500 cars, trucks, track layouts, accessories, instructions, tips, and much more. Too much to mention here. Next there is an assembling instruction sheet for the Aurora Super Skyway track layout. This had obviously came with this particular set or kit. In the same two pictures below is a boxed ©1964 Aurora Model Motoring Speed Racing Control. We do not have a way to test the control here, so it has not been tested. Last but not least in this lot is an old Aurora bottle of Special Racing oil. It is full and believed to be unopened. It comes with an applicator in the cap. All of these old Aurora slot car items for one price! To judge the sizes the Service Manuals each measures about 8-3/8'' x 10-3/4''. These items appear to range from fair to excellent condition as pictured. The manuals have wear and the newer right one also has some staining on the cover and pages. The instruction sheet has wear & tear as well as some discoloration. The Speed Control box has some wear as pictured and as mentioned above, the control has not been tested. The oil bottle looks fine with no damage. |
