The picture below shows a larger front and back view of this 1970s Child's Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Advertising Cloth Beach Jacket. This small cloth jacket is not dated but it is made with a 1970s Cracker Jack cloth. We know that at least J.C. Penney department stores sold items made with this repeated Sailor Jack & Bingo cloth in the 1970s. This one has a care and size label, but not a store one. This jacket has a button down front and a terry cloth or towel like lining, and red trim. The cloth tag is marked as follows: GENTLE CYCLE WARM WATER NO BLEACH COOL IRON. WPL-9495 TOP ??? COTTON TRONK ??? NYLON 2115 SIZE 3T The small jacket measures about 10'' wide x 12-1/2'' tall. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured. At first we thought that there were a few light spots on the collar area, but they are not spots. They are parts of the Sailor Jack figure showing through the red cloth. |
