One side of this medal has a nude woman with a buffalo or American bison. The other side has a man with a torch riding on the back of a winged angel flying over buildings at the Fair. The medal appears to be made of brass or bronze. It is marked on the two sides as follows: GOLD MEDAL HIGHEST AWARD

V.F.M. CO. The medal measures 1-1/4'' wide. It appears to be in excellent condition with some wear, but much of the original luster as pictured. There is a drilled hole at the top. We do not know if it was originally made with the hole or not. |
