| The picture shows all (4) Different WOODSY OWL "Give A Hoot - Don't Polute" Items in this lot. These are not dated but all are believed to be from the 1970's. First there is a tin tab button from the Green Duck Company of Chicago. It is unbent. It pictures Woodsy Owl with his whistle and reads: GIVE A HOOT!

WOODSY OWL Next is a rubber Woodsy Owl figure with a suction cup back. It is black with white paint on the raised surface. I believe that this came from an old bubble gum machine. It reads: GIVE A HOOT
DON'T POLUTE! Next is a nice Woodsy Owl flicker image disk. This I have seen this on a pin back button before, but this one is not. It has two great colorful images of Woodsy. The first has him holding his whistle and the second one has him blowing it with his hat flying off. It reads: WOODSY OWL SAYS...
GIVE A HOOT!
DON'T POLUTE Last but not least is a Woodsy Owl magnet. It has a similar design as the rubber figure above. it is a dark orange color with black paint on the raised surface. It reads: GIVE A HOOT
DON'T POLUTE! To judge the sizes the flicker disk measures 2-7/16" wide. They range from excellent to near mint condition as can be seen in the scan. |
