School   Teacher   Card   Windham   Maine
The picture shows this 1906 Two Page Souvenir Teacher Card From Friend's School, Windham, Maine. Shown is the front page of the card with a small teacher's photograph within a printed frame. It reads:

SOUVENIR
FRIEND'S SCHOOL WINDHAM, MAINE
Spring Term, 1906
E. Ethel Hill, Teacher. Clarence W. Proctor, Superintendent. School Board, Dr. C.F. Parker, Thomas Varney, Miram C. Hawkes

Both pages have the same embossed edges with oak leaves and acorns. The other page was not scanned because I would have had to undo the bow that connects them. It has the names of (25) pupils. The back has (4) gold stars and is signed "From Miss Hill 1906". It measures 3-1/8" x 5-1/4". This is a great early teacher item!
