The pictures show all (9) Old HOWARD JOHNSON'S Restaurant Advertising Items in this lot. The first picture shows a nice old item. I believe this paper is a pie pan liner. It is not dated but it was taken out of an old scrap book dated 1955 - 1959. There is a staple hole at the top, bottom and the two sides. Since scanning a tiny piece of the paper came off where the right side staple was. It is very tiny but it is included and can be re-attached. The next picture shows three more included items. The first is a nice old brochure from Howard Johnson's from the Pennsylvania Turnpike. It has advertising and information on Historical areas including: Bucks County, Valley Forge, Philadelphia, and the Poconos. It is not dated but believed to be from the 1960's. It is clean and in mint condition. Next is an old color photo slide. It can't be pictured but it has a real nice image of a Howard Johnson's restaurant in Gettysburg, Pa. It has the old logo on the sign and advertises (28) flavors of Ice Cream. There are a few cars in the image that appear to be from the 1960's. It is mint. Next is an old Howard Johnson's postcard. This too is believed to be from the 1960's. It is unused but has a crease. The third picture has (5) old Howard Johnson's advertising Match Pack Covers. One is a duplicate. All of them have some print on the opposite side. None have matches and they vary in age and condition as pictured. All of these for one price! |
