| The pictures below show larger front and back views of all (6) Different Old Italian Micro Mosaic Picture Frames and Jewelry Items in this lot. These items are not dated, but all of them are old. These are all made by hand by Artists, Craftsmen, and women with tiny canes of different thin cut colored and patterned glass pieces called tessarae. The following pieces are included in this lot: There is an oval shaped picture frame. It has a brass back and an easel section on the back, and a small old black & white photograph behind glass. All of the many different colored micro mosaic glass pieces are in place. The easel on the back needs a small piece of jewelry chain to keep it from spreading too far. It is marked “ITALY” on the back. There is a rectangle shaped picture frame. It has a brass back and an easel section on the back, and a small old black & white photograph of a young girl behind glass. Almost all of the many different colored micro mosaic glass pieces are in place, with the exception of a few in the left side top and bottom corners. These should be very easy to replace. It is marked “ITALY” on the back. Above the frame on the right there are two pieces. The left one appears to have been a charm or a pendant at one time. The charm loop is missing. The right one appears to have been soldiered to a ring at one time with the ring now missing. All of the glass tessarae pieces are intact on both of these. Below the frame on the right there are another two pieces. The left one has a clip on earring section on the back. The right one is a pendant or charm on a necklace chain. The chain has a metal tag that reads “1928 ®”. All of the glass tessarae pieces are intact on both of these. All six of these micro mosaic pieces for one price! To judge the sizes the oval picture frame measures about 3-3/16'' x 4'' x 5/16''. These items appear to be in very good to mint condition as pictured, and described above. |
