The picture shows all (10) Old Hand Painted Celluloid Charms in this lot. These are not dated but are from between the 1920's and 1940's. I have been told that these were used as premiums on liquor bottles, beer bottles, in bread, and others as well as carnival prizes and sold in five & dime stores. Contrary to popular belief these were never used as a prize in a Cracker Jack box. They date before charms were used in gum ball machines. Included in this lot are the following:

Dog / Puppy With Bow
Sailing Ship
Cowboy
Football Player With Ball
Dutch Boy With Water Buckets
Dutch Girl With Water Buckets
Older Man
Horse With Saddle
Gray Donkey / Ass / Mule
White Donkey / Ass / Mule

All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the football player measures 1-1/4" tall. These range from excellent to mint condition as pictured.
