They both picture a "Thrifty Trixie" advertising character. One pictures a 1943 silver quarter and the other has a Mercury dime. These were given out to customers by the LOWELL FIVE CENT SAVINGS BANK of Chelmsford, Massachusetts. They have a ©1956 date by Banthrico International. They are identical in size, but one appears larger. This is a famous optical illusion trick. They each measures 6-1/8" tall. They are both in mint unused condition. |
