The picture below shows a larger view of the (2) 1940s or 1950s Black & White Christmas Photographs with A Girl and Toys in this lot. The location of these photos and the child pictured are unknown. The backs are simply marked with an imprinted “50”. We are not sure if that was the year or not. It appears that the young girl had opened her wrapped Christmas presents. In one of the photos the girl is wearing what appears to be a robe or a Geisha girl dress. The young girl has several different toy dolls, a doll bed, a cradle, a miniature toy kitchen with pretend items (Sunshine Krispy Crackers, Wax, and more), a purse with scottie dogs, and more. There are other items in the photo that may be seen with a magnifying glass as well. In the background is a decorated Christmas tree, decorations, book shelves, a fireplace, a lamp, windows, a chair, and more. The old black and white snap shot photographs each measure 4-1/8'' x 3-1/8''. They appear to be in mint condition as pictured. |
