| | | The picture below shows three larger views of this Rare Early Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Novelty Cardboard Head with Moving Tongue Toy Prize. This prize is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1920s or early 1930s. I forget what these are called. There is a black thread connected to the back of the tongue inside that can be easily hidden, and when pulled, the tongue comes out about 1-1/4'', and goes up. The colorful prize is made of printed cardboard, in the shape of a half ball with a cardboard backing. It is not marked. The head measures about 1-3/4'' wide. It appears to be in excellent working condition as pictured. The stiff cardboard backing has separated a little but it could easily be reglued. |
