The picture below shows a larger view of all (14) Statue Of Liberty New York Related Advertising and Souvenir Items in this lot. Another of the brochure on the right was added to this lot after the photo was taken. Not all of these items are dated. Please see which ones are below. This is an accumulated lot with a variety of items. Included here are the following items: There is a figural glass bottle of the Statue of Liberty. We do not know what originally came in this bottle. It has a plastic screw on cap. The bottom has a logo marking and it is marked: ''100 ml 3 25 mm''. There are two different miniature pewter figurines or statues. One is boxed. The larger of the two has a mark on the back of the base and it reads ''PEWTER U.S.A.''. The smaller boxed one is not marked, but the box has a sticker that reads ''GENUINE PEWTER''. There are (4) unused embossed black leather luggage tags. These were an advertising premium from the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Three are identical (shown together in the picture). These have an embossed Statue of Liberty on one side. The other side has a leather flap that opens to see an address label inside. These have no paper inserts inside. The other different tag has a smaller embossing of the Statue and it reads ''LIBERTY MUTUAL - LIBERTY - LIFE''. This one does have an unused Identification paper inside. There are (3) Statue of Liberty brochures. The two like the right one are ©1943, and the left one is ©1949. All three have pictures and information inside. The left one has a center vertical fold. Next is a colorful picture that probably came off of an advertising calendar. It has the Statue with a ship and an old New York skyline in the background. It is marked ''R ATHINSON FOX'' in the lower right corner. There is a Statue of Liberty post card that opens with a message inside. It has a Thomas Jefferson 3 cent postage stamp and it was postmarked New York, N.Y. on February 16, 1949. There is an old black & white photograph from a couple's 50th anniversary. Between their two heads is a souvenir pillow that pictures the Statue of Liberty and reads ''GOD BLESS AMERICA''. The old photo has wrinkling and creasing. There is a small engraving print of the Statue of Liberty. It is on paper with a cardboard backing. This came off the side of an early 1900s candy box that came apart. We forgot the name of the candy. The last item in this lot is a paper envelope picturing The Statue of Liberty. This is a Viewmaster Reel packet envelope for ''Sight Seeing In New York City''. It is ONLY the envelope. It has some wear. All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the glass bottle in the center measures 8-5/8'' tall. These items appear to vary from good to mint condition as pictured and described above. |
