All three of these invoices here are from GURNSEY BROS. & CO. of Keene, New Hampshire. They were manufacturers as well as distributors or jobbers for many Candy, Cigars, and other tobacco products. These invoices are all from 1925. They are dated: July 8th, August 4th, and August 19th. They are typed with amounts and prices. The first one has the following products: Commons, Mayos, 7-20-4, Camels, Lucky Strike, Chesterfields, Dills, Edgeworth, Sickle, Liberty Bell, Ivy, Spearhead Clubs, Cob Pipes Stick Stemmed, Fatimas, Old Honesty, Purity Caramels, Purity Cocoanut Caramels, English Ovals, Hershey's Candy Bars, Walnut Bar, Old Nick, Carload, Necco Rolls, Touraine Mints, Royal Marshmallows, & Schrafft's Caramallow. The second invoice has the following listed: Carload, Charms, BB Chocolates, Ice Cream, Caramallow, Pept, Caramels, Blue Bird Assorted Nuts, Purity Cocoanut Caramels, Touraine Mints, Ripe Fruit, Lifesavers, Little Gems, Hootmons, & Strawberries. The third invoice has the following listed: Pennant Peanuts, Shotwell Marshmallows, Foxy Grandpa, Fine Corn, 16 to 1, Assorted Fruit Slices, MM Montevideos, Licorice Pipes, & Lady Grace Almonds. Each invoice measures 9" x 8-1/4". They are in very good condition with hand written marks and figures in pencil. |
