| | | The picture shows this 1932 Kellogg's PEP Cereal Premium Advertisement Paper With BUCK ROGERS. The picture shows both sides of all the panels of the advertisement brochure. When folded the front is the far right panel with the boy and girl flying a kite and the red vertical strip that reads "PEP!". This advertisement has many things, it obviously advertises Kellogg's PEP Cereal, pictures a box, and it talks about Health. It also has a cereal guarantee. One whole side gives instructions on building two different kites. Probably the best panel here is the one that reads at the top: "2 Great Radio Programs". The first ad is for "Singing Lady" A Radio program featuring Nursery Rhymes. It gives the Radio Stations, the dates and times of the program. The second ad pictures BUCK ROGERS. I will type what it says for you. It reads: BUCK ROGERS A new radio feature - already famous in newspapers. Now on the air for the first time. Buck Rogers and his gang! 25th Century Thrills and Adventures. Rocket ships zooming 150 miles per minute. Robot soldiers - Jumping Belts, etc. Broadcast over Columbia Network Stations: WABC New York WNAC Boston WGR Buffalo WCAU Philadelphia WHK Cleveland CKOK Detroit - Windsor WBBM Chicago KMOX St. Louis WHAS Louisville WCCO Minneapolis Opened the paper measures 10-1/2" x 5-3/8". It is in near mint condition. It is not dated but the hosting of the new Buck Rogers Radio Program by Kellogg's places this from 1932. |
