The pictures show views of this Boxed ©1974 Morton Salt Girl Advertising Character Shoppin' Pal Doll. This doll is boxed and has never been played with. He comes dressed in his Sailor suit and hat with a miniature cardboard punch out Cracker Jack Box. He is one of a series of three Shoppin' Pal character dolls that was made by Mattel in 1974. The other two include the Morton Salt Girl and the Chicken of the Sea (tuna) Mermaid, both of which are pictured on the side of the box. These cloth dolls were intended to accompany children in the store while grocery shopping. To judge the sizes the window box measures 5-7/8'' x 15-3/8'' x 2-1/4''. The doll is in mint unused condition and the box has only minor shelf wear and a Two Guys department store price tag as pictured.
