The picture shows all (4) 1940's Hampton Beach, New Hampshire Music Festival Souvenir Items in this lot. First there is a large Envelope that the other three items came in. It was from the Hampton Beach Chamer Of Commerce. It is to a Guest Participant in the Annual New England Music Festival to be held on May 21st - 22nd, 1948. The items included with the envelope are a nice tourist booklet, a souvenir program, and a cloth patch. The brochure type booklet highlights the features of Hampton Beach with much information, a map, and has many pictures which include beach scenes with people, the Bath House, The old Band Stand, Playground scenes, boating, fishing, Bicycles, Police Station, Churches, U.S. Coast Guard Station, and a nice scene of the beach parking lot filled with old cars. The (44) page Souvenir Program Booklet is filled with lots of information. There are schedules, all the many participating bands, some pictures, lots of area advertising, and all the other usual items in a program. On the back is a great image and advertisement for the HAMPTON BEACH CASINO BALLROOM. Last in this lot is an unused imprinted felt like cloth jacket patch. This was intended for one of the band participants. It has music notes and is marked as follows: 1948 MUSIC FESTIVAL HAMPTON BEACH N.H. To judge the sizes the Program Book measures 7-3/4" x 10-5/8". With the exception of the large envelope the items are in near mint to mint condition. |
