The picture shows a view of the (6) Unused ©1957 Peyton Place Movie Ad Mat Molds in this lot. The ad mats are not dated but they are from the 1957 movie. These are molds in which lead is poured to create a thin metal negative image that is then mounted on a wooden block for printing. Advertising is no longer being made or printed like this. The ad mats are like a miniature 3-D posters and would look nice framed, or you could still use them to make print blocks from. The print block would have been used to print on movie pages in newspapers, in magazines, or in the movie theater programs. They are made of a thick compressed paper board. The admats have the movie information, movie scene images, as well as actors and actresses. These (6) admats are marked as follows:

The largest admat in his lot measures about 2-1/4'' x 5-5/8''. These appear to be in mint unused condition except two have a water spot as pictured. These do not affect the casting if made.
