| | | | The pictures below show larger views of the Old Engraved Gruen Watch Face and Henry Paulson & Company Tin Container in this lot. The first picture shows the outside of the tin and the watch face. The second picture shows the inside of the tin and the back of the watch face. This is how we found this watch face wrapped in the small tin. We believe that the Gruen watch face was sent away to have the center section engraved. The work was done, but for one reason or another, the customer never got their Gruen watch face back. The tin has a man flying above planet Earth and it is marked as follows: PAULSON SERVICE

CHICAGO The watch face has a fancy center engraving with flowers and reads as follows: GRUEN
SWITZERLAND To judge the sizes the watch face measures 7/8'' wide. It and the tin appear to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
