This educational poster was presented to a school class from the Editors of Current Science. The poster was prepared by the Editors of Current Science, American Education Publications, of The Education Center in Columbus, Ohio. On one side the poster shows “MAN’S FIRST MOON PHOTOS FROM SPACE”. There are (9) numbered images of the Moon, and a corresponding explanation for each. Photograph #2 is credited to The Boeing Company, and all others were from N.A.S.A.. The other side has a “NASA MOON MAP FOR U.S. ASTRONAUTS”. There are (28) panel images of different regions on the Moon, with corresponding information below. It has very detailed information about sea material, crater rim material, FRA Mauro Formation, dark halo crater material, intercrater material, and much more about the entire region. It has a scale, and it shows where the region is located on the Moon. The 2-sided Moon map or poster measures about 37-3/4'' x 25-5/8''. It appears to be in near mint condition as pictured. It has an upper corner crease, and folds as made. |
