The picture below shows a larger view of this 1800s Tintype Photograph of (2) Young Women In Original Paper Frame Folder. This is about a 1/6 plate photo. The young women or ladies are all dressed in antique or vintage clothing and hats. This old photograph is still in it's original paper frame folder. It is not marked.

This tintype photograph was acquired from an old estate with many more older photographs dating back as far as the Civil War to the early 1900s, including many tintypes, carte de visite (CDV), and cabinet cards. The people are not identified, however, the majority of photographs were of people who were probably related, and lived in Rochester, New Hampshire, and Bangor, Maine.

The tin photo measures about 2-1/4'' x 3-3/8'' and the paper frame folder measures about 3-1/8'' x 4-7/8''. The image is sharp and clean. We are not graders, but it appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured. The photograph had been well protected since it was taken many years ago.
