| | | | The picture below shows larger front and back views of this Old Metal Puritan Pickles Advertising Premium Jar Opener Tool. The opener is not dated but it is old. It is a specialty opener tool to open vacuum sealed jars more easily. You would insert the screw driver looking edge (arrows pointing) and turn it like a door key, to break the vacuum seal, and easily open the pickle jar. There are two holes in this steel metal tool to attach it to a key chain, ring, or cord, or to hang it on a hook or nail for easy access. It was found with the old red string that is on it. It is marked on the two sides as follows: PURITAN PICKLES
