| | | The picture below shows a larger view of all of the pages of this ©1966 Topper Tiger Army Soldier Toy Action Figure Advertising Booklet. The brochure or booklet is not dated but it was from 1966 when these action figures were sold. It probably came with one of the figures or accessory items. These 6-1/2'' tall action figures were short lived, competing with G.I. Joe figures during the Vietnam War era. They were made of a rubber material with wire inside to pose them. It appears that the booklet shows the entire set except for the barracks building. It not only has pictures of the figures with their accessories, but it also has a description or story for each. It includes the following: Tex - raises a rifle Sarge - raises a pistol Combat kid - throws a molotov cocktail Pretty Boy - salutes Big Ears - raises a walkie talkie The Rock - throws a grenade Bugle Ben - brings a bugle to his lips Machine Gun Mike - raises a submachine gun Exploded Wall Tiger Cannon Tiger Tank The booklet, when fully opened, measures 26-1/4'' x 4''. It appears to be in excellent condition with one fold tear on the cover page as pictured. |
