The picture shows all (6) OLD Dance Cards in this lot. These each have attached strings and two have a pencil. The last two are identical and are attached to a section of a scrap book page. The first one has an embossed rose on the cover and four pages inside. There are a couple of names lightly filled in. It is marked: Class Of '96 Reception Edward Little High School Friday, June Nineteenth 1896 The second one has a red velvet cover with a gold emblem. The cover has wear and there are eight pages inside. There are many printed names inside and there is some writing in the back area. The title page is marked: Boston University Class Of 1934 Senior Promenade Imperial Ball Room Hotel Statler Thursday, June Seven 10 P.M. to 3 A.M. Nineteen Hundred Thirty-Four Music By Isham Jones And His Orchestra The third one has a dyed leather cover with a gold emblem on the cover and four pages inside with also protective pages. There are many names lightly filled in. The title page reads: Sophmore Hop Framingham (Massachusetts) Normal School May Twenty-Third Nineteen Twenty-Five The fourth one has an Flapper Girl pictured on the cover and eight pages total. There are many names lightly filled in. The cover page reads: Senior Prom Class of 1927 Framingham (Massachusetts) Normal School May Hall May Twenty-First Nineteen Twenty-Seven The fifth and sixth ones are identical and they are attached to a section of a scrap book page. In the picture one is shown open and one closed. They have die cut triangle sections on the cover and a gold seal inside on a black page. Besides two black pages there are four pages inside. There are names lightly filled in. The title page on each reads: Freshman - Junior Prom Framingham (Massachusetts) Normal School May Seventeenth 1924 To judge the sizes the first one closed measures 5-1/8" x 3-1/4". Overall they are in excellent condition. |
