The picture below shows a larger view of all (4) Different Old Hard Plastic Buddha Religious Figurines in this lot. These figures are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1960s or 1970s. All four of these were made in Hong Kong. These religious figures were probably sold in old five and dime stores but these particular ones were found amongst other small 1960s and 1970s toys that we acquired that were being used as prizes in an old arcade crane machine games that was at the Asbury Park (New Jersey) Boardwalk Casino. The two medium sized figures are on black plastic bases. They are identical except for the color. One is a green jade color and one has silver or chrome paint. The smallest one here has a metal keychain. It may have been sold in old gum ball machines as well. They are each marked on the bottom as follows: MADE IN HONG KONG All four of these for one price! To judge the sizes the largest figure here measures 4-3/4'' tall. They appear to be in mint condition as pictured. |
