The picture shows a view of both sides of this 1960 Disabled American Veterans Advertising Premium Cigarette Lighter. The center section is brass with the logo and lettering painted. The logo has U.S. Soldiers with one kneeling before an American flag and what appears to be Miss Liberty. The advertising sides are marked as follows: DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS FORTIETH ANNIVERSARY COMMITTEE 1921 - 1960 The lighter was made by Narudan. There is a marking on the bottom of the letter ''M'' in a diamond shape. The side and bottom are marked as follows: NARUDAN NARUDAN PT. NO. 432427 TRADE MARK FINE QUALITY AUTOMATIC JAPAN The lighter measures about 2-1/8'' x 1-3/4''. It is in good used condition and the brass has not been polished. The lighter would need a new flint and lighter fluid. There is some wear and there are some notches near the flame area on each side as pictured. |
