The picture shows a view of all (7) Old American Legion Advertising Items in this lot. These items were all found together. Some of them are dated, but all of them are old. Included are the following items: Delegate Pin. It has a metal frame with a paper ''DELEGATE'' insert. There is a hanging charm or medal. It has the American Legion emblem. It was made by Bastian Brothers of Rochester, New York. Delegate Medal Badge. It has a metal frame pin section with a paper ''DELEGATE'' insert. There is a ribbon and hanging from it is a medal with The American Legion emblem. It was made by The Whitehead & Hoag Company of Newark, New Jersey and it is marked as follows: AMERICAN LEGION 31st ANNUAL CONVENTION DEPT. OF N.J. WILDWOOD SEPT. 8 - 10, 1949 State of New Jersey American Legion Pin. It is in the shape of the state, has the American Legion emblem and reads as follows: AMERICAN LEGION DEPARTMENT OF NEW JERSEY WILDWOOD 1954 American Legion Auxiliary Coin Key Chain. It appears to be made of bronze. It has the Auxiliary emblem and it is on a bead keychain. American Legion Auxiliary Miniature Enameled Charm. It has the Auxiliary emblem and it is on a tiny safety pin. (2) American Legion Uniform Buttons. These have the American Legion emblem and the back cotter pin sections are included. To judge the sizes the medal in the center measures 3-7/8'' tall. These appear to be in near mint to mint condition as pictured. The ribbon has a few tiny brown spots that could probably be cleaned. |
