They are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1940s or 1950s. They may have been used as a premium, a prize, sold in old gum ball machines, or in five and dime stores. They appear to be from the same set. These were all found together. they are not marked and the maker is unknown. We do not know how many are in the complete set. Each of these pinback buttons has a comic or cartoon illustration. All of these for one price! The pinback buttons each measure 3/4'' wide. They appear to range all the way from poor to mint condition as pictured. The bottom right pin has surface rust on the front. the ''Hep Cat'' pin has chip in the paint. |
