The picture below shows a larger view of this Old United States Navy U.S.S. Groton (SSN-694) Nuclear Attack Submarine Advertising Ceramic Coffee Cup. The cup is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. It has a U.S.S. Groton submarine made up from the name, it is imprinted in red and black on white ceramic, and marked as follows:

The mug measures 3-3/4'' tall. It appears to be in mint unused condition as pictured.

The U.S.S. Groton was the seventh Los Angeles class attack submarine. Decommissioned and stricken from the Navy list on November 7, 1997, the GROTON is currently berthed at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, New Hampshire, awaiting disposal through the Nuclear Powered Ship and Submarine Recycling Program.
