| | | The pictures below show larger views of the Old Corgi & Remco Monkees Television Show Monkeemobile Miniature Diecast Toy Cars in this lot. The larger red toy car is from Corgi and the smaller green car with the missing roof (now convertible) is from Remco. The Monkeemobile is a modified 1966 Pontiac GTO that was designed and built by designer Dean Jeffries for The Monkees, pop-rock band and television program starring Davy Jones, Mike Nesmith, Peter Tork, and Micky Dolenz. The two toy cars are marked as follows: MONKEES (guitar logo decals on both sides) CORGI TOYS MONKEEMOBILE PATENT NO 904525 MADE IN GT. BRITAIN MONKEES (guitar logo stickers on both sides) MONKEES (guitar logo on bottom) ©1970 AND tm OF COLUMBIA PICTURES INDUSTRIES, INC. AUTHORIZED USER MADE IN HONG KONG REMCO INDUSTRIES, INC. Both of these for one price! To judge the sizes the Corgi car measures 4-7/8'' long and the Remco car measures 3'' long. These toy cars have obviously been played with. The Corgi car still appears to be in good condition with some wear. It has three character figures inside. Thr Remco car was in good condition except for the fact that the roof is missing as pictured. |
