| | | | The pictures below show larger front and back views of this Large Old Colorful Marx Toys Lithographed Tin Jungle Hunter Suction Cup Gun Animal Target. The metal target is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. You would fire suction cup darts, or bullets at the target, where they would sick, and you would keep score. Included here is only the target, with no parts, no guns, suction cups, box, or anything else. It has colorful images of animals with points values. There is a gorilla (75), a jaguar (90), a cheetah (55), a wild boar (50), an elephant (45), a lion (80), a tiger (90), and an antelope (35). The target has the “MARX TOYS” logo, and the “Scoring Rules” on the front. The target will look great, like a colorful poster, hanging on a wall. The tin target measures about 16-1/4'' x 27-1/2''. The front appears to be in excellent used condition with a few tiny white dots or drops of paint. The back has some rust spots as pictured. The back could be sanded and repainted if desired. |
