The picture shows a view of both sides of this 1921 Mr. Peanut / Planters Peanuts Candy Trade Magazine Two-Sided Advertisement. This two-sided ad came from the August 1921 issue of a candy trade publication called The Confectioners Journal. The ad was not intended for the general public. It was directed at the candy manufacturers and distributors.

Both sides have a colorful illustrations of Mr. Peanut with early Planter's candy items. One side advertises ''Milk Chocolate Peanut Clusters'' and ''Milk Chocolate Peanut Chips''. It pictures them flowing from special pails that were sold only to Jobbers by The Planters Nut & Chocolate Company. It advertises (25) pound pails and (5) pound boxes.

The other side advertises ''Planters Milk Almond Cluster Bar'' at (24) bars per box and (40) boxes per case. It is also from The Planters Nut & Chocolate Company. A nice early Mr. Peanut is pictured

The page measures about 9-1/4'' x 12''. It is in mint condition. The white spots are part of the design and not a flaw. This ad was not cut or torn from the publication. It was carefully removed by first taking out the staples. There are four sets of staple holes on one edge as made. These holes will be covered if it were matted and framed.
